We're looking for a Salesforce Product Owner to join L&G Asset Management on a 9 month fixed-term contract.

This is a key role to shape how Salesforce supports our business across regions and divisions and aligns the strategic programme with the tactical backlog to ensure the platform scales efficiently, aligns with local market needs, and delivers measurable impact in line with Asset Management corporate strategy.

In practice, this means setting up a centre of excellence to shape a unified CRM strategy that harmonises multiple Salesforce instances into a single, strategic direction. You’ll support stakeholders in Distribution & Sales, Marketing, Client Service & Operations to ensure our Salesforce roadmap supports each function’s goals while maintaining a consistent enterprise vision

What you’ll be doing:

• Setting up the centre of excellence, working with the strategic programme and stakeholders to design and build a centre of excellence
• Owning and evolving the Salesforce product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long‑term strategic objectives
• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Salesforce specialists (Admins, Developers, Scrum Master)
• Gathering, refining and prioritising requirements from cross‑functional senior stakeholders, aligning programme with BAU
• Translating business needs into scalable technical solutions using Salesforce best practices
• Overseeing the design and implementation of Salesforce automations, workflows, flows, validation rules and integrations
• Driving continuous improvement, aligning with the three strategic programme initiatives and working across Salesforce and connected platforms such as Connect
• Ensuring platform governance, data quality, user adoption and release management processes are maintained

Who we’re looking for:

• Strong experience as a Product Owner, Technical Lead or similar Salesforce-focused role
• Deep understanding of Salesforce core features, declarative automation (Flows, Process Automation), data model and integration patterns.
• Proven experience across Sales Cloud and Salesforce integrations
• Demonstrable experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams
• Experience of working in Agile environments with structured sprint planning and backlog management
• Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM capabilities (Sales Cloud required; Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Data 360) would be a huge plus!
