Property Operations Associate

We’re recruiting for a Property Operations Associate to provide support to Asset Managers in the effective management of assets and operation of internal processes and governance requirements. This role will liaise across a number of Real Assets Funds with our external partners including managing agents, valuers and letting agents.  

What you'll be doing:

• Asset and Property Management – Assist asset managers, as appropriate, with managing pre-determined complex assets and where appropriate directly manage assets within agreed parameters and standards. Liaise with managing agent & facilities managers, co-ordinate actions with 3rd parties, attend quarterly and ad hoc meetings to improve operational performance of properties.
• Office Strategy - Support team of office specialists with rollout and management of its flex strategy under Capsule and Capsule Managed brands. Undertake inspections, focusing on improving the quality of void units and their presentation, organise marketing & events to promote the leasing of void space. Also manage space availability and presentation on digital platforms including LGIM Offices website and brokerage platforms.  
• Sustainability & Social Impact - Support the asset manager & fund to achieve their sustainability objectives & science-based targets through management & delivery of sustainability projects and tasks. Work closely with our partners to ensure Quarterly Sustainability Meetings (QSM’s) are well prepared.
• Vizta by L&G – Work with internal teams and suppliers to achieve Vizta by L&G strategic net zero carbon and asset management objectives. This includes the creation of platform wide content and management of the platform including occupier setup and liaising with property management teams to ensure documentation and properties remain up to date.
• Strategic Initiatives– Support the implementation and rollout of new propositions from pilot stage through to wider rollout. Also assist with ad hoc processes such as fund valuer rotations.

Who we're looking for:

• Previous property experience preferred 
• An understanding or interest in the Investment Management industry
• Ability to build relationships with people at all levels of seniority
• Strong attention to detail and able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and thoroughness.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills, primarily with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly team-orientated with the ability to work to and share best practice
