Job Description
We have a new opportunity for a techncial Principal Solutions Engineer to join our Cloud and Platforms team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and enhancing our cloud and platform engineering capabilities and strategies within our global asset management function. Your expertise will be the cornerstone of our Internal Developer Platforms, DevOps Tooling, and platform architecture.
This position uniquely blends Solutions Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Architecture, demanding hands-on proficiency in cloud technologies and services across AWS, Azure, infrastructure and platform automation, as well as enterprise-scale software delivery. You will work closely with Product Engineering, Architecture, Security, Site Reliability Engineering teams, and Senior Management to drive innovation and operational efficiency throughout our ecosystems.

What you’ll be doing:
- Championing the design and implementation of our cutting-edge CI/CD pipeline and Internal Developer Platform, empowering our global engineering teams with unparalleled self-service capabilities
- Setting the standard for DevSecOps, DevOps, and Platform Engineering best practices, ensuring our infrastructure is robust, reusable, and scalable
- Innovating frameworks and integrations that streamline our software delivery pipelines, cloud provisioning, and security controls, driving efficiency and security
- Architecting, developing, and managing enterprise DevOps solutions, including GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and API catalogues, to enhance our operational excellence
- Directing the way in multi-cloud architecture, hybrid cloud networking, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency at every step
- Spearheading the design and integration of large-scale cloud and technology ecosystems, aligning them seamlessly with our business objectives within a regulated industry
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Handson expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementations using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux ect
- DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE and Platform Engineering methodologies, principals and implementation practices
- Enterprise experience in Cloud, DevOps or Platform Engineering with role in large scale environments
- InDepth expertise in at least one cloud platform Azure, GCP or AWS ideally with experience in multi-cloud
- Strong hands on experience of Enterprise DevOps transformation, enabling developer productive through internal developer platforms
- High proficiency in at least one programme language such as Python, Java, or Type scripts
- Ability to meet deadlines and focus on delivery
- Ability to lead a global engineering team, enhance capability and quality, define excellence and achieve it
