We’re recruiting for a Counterparty Onboarding Specialist on a 12month FTC. The Counterparty Onboarding Team is to support LGIM's trading and investment activities by ensuring all required brokers and funds, across all relevant instruments and markets, are set-up ready to support the trading and investment activity.
What you'll be doing:
- Understanding, communicating, and implementing the Counterparty Onboarding deliverables relating to the STOM (Strategic Target Operating Model) program.
- Acting as a point of contact representing Counterparty Onboarding to stakeholders both within LGIM and third party representatives.
- Developing new onboarding processes and challenge existing flows with a focus on mitigating risk, creating scalability and a sound operating model.
- Being comfortable presenting the Counterparty Onboarding vision to stakeholders both within global operations and across the business.
- Working closely with the external vendor on development of the onboarding platform to meet Counterparty Onboarding requirements.
- Engaging across operations and the wider business to identify opportunities where the platform can help standardise and streamline heritage processes.
- Being the agent of transformation within Counterparty Onboarding, comfortable documenting and presenting current operational flows, partnering with the required stakeholders to map out future operational processes.
Who we're looking for:
- Technical investment knowledge/experience relevant to the role from operating in a similar function
- Experience with broker onboarding platforms (e.g. Saphyre, S&G Global’s Counterparty Manager or similar) an advantage.
- Experience managing a vendor relationship including the book of work.
- Demonstrable ability in analysing existing processes and data to spot improvement opportunities.
- Collaborative and personalised approach to service commitment, delivery
and continuous improvement. - Experience of planning and implementing projects.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and able to work accurately under
pressure. - Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, with an ability to
successfully articulate issues clearly and logically. - Ability to understand issues and find creative and innovative solutions to
problems.
