Test Analyst

LGRI’s Risk and Technology team are looking to hire a Test Analyst to work with business users to define, plan, and review requirements and impact assessment documents to build out test plans as Group IT continues updates across groupwide platforms and tools.

This role will see you working closely with business users on a project basis to define and plan, review requirements and impact assessment documents and building out test plans. You will be working with stakeholders and other testers in the team to manage and ensure efficiency and operational rigor of software and service updates, Microsoft office updates and new firewalls through regression testing with the view to automate some of these processes in the future.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating and executing quality test plans that deliver the required validation of functionality via a risk-based approach across a number of projects.
• Proactively working with both business and 3rd party testers to ensure coverage across all test stages is adequate and unique.
• Creating automation coverage that reduces regression effort during and after project delivery
• Delivering effective & timely communication to Test Managers and Project Managers.
• Providing input into defining the appropriate test approach in collaboration with the Test Manager, ensuring effective test preparation and execution.
• Understanding the principles of Business Technology & Transformation and translating these principles into business and people change activities and project outcomes
• Undertaking appropriate customer research and product testing to provide assurance that the product and proposition will perform as expected to meet the needs, objectives and characteristics of customers in the target market 

• IT degree educated – desirable but not essential, or suitable comparable or demonstrable role experience and capability.
• Analysis background with previous test experience and project management, service management, test or agile qualifications desirable
• Background in Pensions, Annuities, Asset & Liability Management or Investments and understanding of the products, regulations, and the UK Pensions market is desirable
• Test analyst experience required and proven delivery track record of change and transformation.
• Experience with test automation development (ideally using Selenium, Web API and Jenkins) desirable
• Stakeholder management and experience in delivering to non technical teams
