Senior Operational Risk Manager, Investments - 12 Month FTC

We’re recruiting for a Senior Operational Risk Manager to join us on a 12 month FTC. We’re offering a competitive base salary, 12% car allowance and good benefits package

What you'll be doing:

• Partnering with Investments teams to identify, report, and manage operational risks in line with our Operational Risk Framework
• Ensuring risk events are identified, escalated, and resolved according to Asset Management division policies
• Conducting operational risk reviews and defining mitigating actions for adverse findings
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Investments and the Asset Management division
• Managing team members to meet the objectives of the operational risk team
• Providing operational risk opinions and inputs at key meetings, committees, and boards
• Overseeing the delivery of clear and consistent risk management information
• Representing Operational Risk in project meetings and steering committees

Who we're looking for:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Investments, including asset types, investors, and distribution channels
• Strong understanding of operational risk management frameworks and systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to question constructively and open up debate
• Experience in providing practical and value-add solutions to risk issues
• Proven experience in supervising and directing team members to achieve desired outcomes
