Senior Finance Business Partner - Retail Annuities

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Retail Division here at L&G as a Senior Finance Business Partner.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the "FD of Annuities and Workplace Savings" and the "Head of Finance – Retail Annuities" in driving forward the profitability of L&Gs Retail Annuity business.

This will include supporting the development of the financial plan for the Retail Annuity business across all financial metrics, all aspects of financial planning, financial management, financial control and supporting the business in making key commercial decisions.

You will remain abreast of regulations, accounting standards and Group requirements that impact Retail Annuities, and will assess the financial impacts of any changes to these to ensure that appropriate actions are taken to successfully manage financial outcomes.

You will also establish and maintain strong cross functional working relationships with key stakeholders across L&G Retail and the wider Group. 

This is a hybrid working opportunity based from our London Offices in Moorgate, which will allow you to work flexibly between your home and the office to find a work/life balance that suits you.

Technical

• A Qualified Actuary (with demonstrable post-qualification experience).
• Knowledge of the drivers of IFRS and SII results.
• An understanding of the Retail Annuities market - including products, distribution, operations and competitive environment.
• An understanding of financial processes, systems and governance.
• An understanding of risk management philosophy and how to support in the delivery and monitoring of the risk control environment.
• An understanding of monthly/quarterly/annual financial planning and forecasting cycles.
