The (ISM)  Investment Strategy Management - Fund Management team sits within the Investment COO department working in partnership with a team of project managers and restructure execution managers to deliver enhanced client outcomes via our unified capabilities.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing support on various in-house fund management tools that assist Portfolio Managers in the management of funds. These tools include spreadsheets and other VBA-based programs
• Supporting with the on-going management of execution only mandates, trading in pooled funds, derivatives, FX and cash management or other instruments if appropriate
• Managing simple portfolio’s, maintaining the asset allocation in line with established procedures, and monitoring of investment tolerances
• Support the take on process of new Clients, Funds & Products, monitoring asset transfers, investing cash flows and setting management parameters in line with the mandate supplied
• Producing various reports, including estimated trade costings, fund holding and performance commentary, at a regular basis.
• Participating in ad-hoc research and prepare material for investment reports as required
• Assisting with client-servicing, including helping to respond to client requests and helping prepare materials for client presentations
• Evaluating and improve existing processes, as well as think and act in a strategic and innovative way to help ensure the operational model remains effective and efficient as our business continues to grow and change

Who we're looking for:

• Educated to degree standard
• IMC and/or CFA/CAIA or other relevant qualification desirable
• Knowledge of Securities/Instruments, Derivative & Cash Management
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• High level of numeracy & accuracy under pressure
• Pro-active improvement of existing analysis and processes
• Adaptability to a range of tasks – e.g. portfolio management, client projects, product development and management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working collaboratively within Investment Strategy Management department and across LGIM
