We’re recruiting for a Investment Operations Initiative Delivery Lead to support the successful delivery of operating model change across OTC and ETD trade and lifecycle support within Investment Operations. Sitting within the Investment Operations Initiatives team, the role focuses on delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions that enhance operational capabilities in support of L&G’s global asset management products and clients.
Working closely with a broad network of internal stakeholders and strategic vendor partners, the role collaborates across teams to deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions within agreed cost and timeline constraints. It leverages standardised services, automation, and AI where appropriate, while actively managing risks and issues through effective resolution or escalation as delivery progresses.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring delivery of fit‑for‑purpose solutions through design, build, testing, and operational readiness, including supporting Investment Operations teams in adopting new processes
- Delivering largely outsourced global operational solutions aligned to market, regulatory, and internal requirements within agreed timelines
- Proactively working with L&G stakeholders, outsourced providers, and third parties to ensure service quality and controls meet business needs
- Collaborating with the wider team to track, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues, driving timely resolution and alignment across stakeholders
- Actively contributing subject matter expertise and change experience across Investment Operations and the wider L&G teams to resolve issues and design challenges
- Supporting Investment Operations capability owners in delivering against agreed priorities, escalating to business leadership where required
- Playing a lead role in defining testing approaches, ensuring successful CUAT, operational readiness, and supporting issue resolution during hypercare and production
- Building strong partnerships with service providers and vendors, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and sharing relevant market insights internally
Who we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated experience within the asset management industry, with strong investment operations knowledge and understanding of service recipient needs
- Extensive experience working with operational teams supporting OTC and ETD trade lifecycle operations
- Proven experience delivering operating model change within operational and investment operations teams
- Strong knowledge of outsourced service models, including service delivery, client expectations, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Experience delivering solutions aligned to robust risk and control frameworks
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, contributing effectively within team‑based and large change programme environments
- Strong prioritisation, problem‑solving, organisational, and decision‑making skills, with resilience in fast‑paced, changeable environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex messages to a range of audiences
