Investment Associate - Digital Infrastructure

We’re looking for an Investment Associate to join Legal & General Asset Management’s Digital Infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing private equity strategy focused on sectors including data centres, fibre, wireless infrastructure and digital services across the UK, Europe and North America.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and high-performing team, supporting investments from origination through to execution and ongoing portfolio management, while gaining exposure to both balance sheet and third-party capital deployment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting deal sourcing and screening activities across digital infrastructure sectors
• Conducting sector research and market analysis to identify investment opportunities
• Building and maintaining detailed financial models, including DCF and LBO analysis
• Supporting all stages of transaction execution, including due diligence and valuation
• Managing external advisors and reviewing outputs to inform investment decisions
• Preparing investment papers and presenting insights to internal stakeholders and committees
• Monitoring portfolio company performance, including reviewing reporting and supporting board-related activities
• Contributing to wider strategy development, fundraising initiatives and corporate development activity

What we are looking for:

• ACA or CFA qualification (or working towards)
• Experience in a relevant transactional environment such as investment banking, private equity, corporate finance or a Big 4 firm
• Strong financial modelling skills, including experience building DCF and/or LBO models
• Good understanding of financial statements, capital structures and valuation techniques
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate insights into clear recommendations
• Confident communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging a range of stakeholders
• Interest in digital infrastructure and private markets, with a commercially aware mindset
• Fluency in a European language (such as German, French, Spanish or Italian) beneficial
