The L&G Credit Rating internship is an 8-week programme, running from June to August. During this time, you’ll have the chance to develop your skills, gain valuable insights, and get hands-on work experience.

What you might work on

During your 8-week placement in June and August, you’ll:

• Kick off with an induction to introduce you to L&G and prepare for an exciting internship
• Engage with different teams and gain insights from various departments
• Learn from senior speakers
• Network with fellow interns and build lasting connections

You will be assigned to the Credit Rating teams for your 8-week placement. Some of the day-to-day activities you may experience might include: 

• Learning diverse aspects of financial and business analysis, including an introduction to financial modelling and fundamental credit analysis across a range of sectors. This will help you build and develop your opinion of companies operating in the global capital markets
• Gaining have access to the key decision makers across the Credit and Investment Committees, deal makers, research, portfolio management and transaction teams

• On track for a 2.1 Degree in any subject – we are open to all subject backgrounds
• In your penultimate of university (i.e. graduating in 2027)
• B in A Level Maths
• Curious, motivated and have a desire to learn more about a career in Investment Management!
