We’re recruiting for a Financial Advisor to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. You will be responsible for achieving all business objectives and key result areas by building and maintaining professional working relationships with our Customer Service Agents and to deliver the most appropriate later life advice and service to our clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring that in all dealings with clients and our partners, that the requirements of the Legal & General Employee Conduct, Advice and Vulnerable Customer policies are met
- Through a comprehensive knowledge of the market, the needs of our clients and the agreed advice process, achieve all agreed objectives to optimise client outcomes and maximise growth
- Operating in accordance with the compliance requirements of Legal & General, including the DPA and to ensure the advice given and any associated documentation, meets the requirements detailed in the Advice Standards
- Informing, nurturing and supporting clients throughout the advice process and ensure the ongoing management of client relationships
- Ensuring that advice and industry knowledge is maintained and kept up to date through a programme of ongoing learning and development in line with industry CPD requirements
- Ensuring advice recommendations align with Legal & General Financial Advisor’s Advice policy due to this being a regulated position

Who we're looking for:
- To have passed the required industry appropriate Level 4 exams and hold the necessary qualifications, such as DipPFS or DipFA
- Equity release qualifications, such as CeMAP and CeRER or Certs (MP&ER) is desirable
- History of delivering high quality advice to clients
- Expert pensions knowledge, plus strong knowledge of all aspects of financial planning is essential
- Track record of building effective relationships in complex environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses and key support functions
