A fantastic opportunity for a Director, Infrastructure Capital Raising to deliver on the capital raising objectives of the firm as relates to infrastructure through direct engagement with prospects and leveraging the existing distribution team.
What you'll be doing:
- Identifying and engaging with investor prospects globally, including acting as a central sales function to support delivery
- Focusing on maximizing consultant buy ratings for infrastructure, on a global basis
- Supporting the Head of Infrastructure Capital Raising with shaping the future strategy of the infrastructure platform through gathering market and investor knowledge and acting as the client voice for future strategy and demand
- Participating in internal and external client conferences and industry events, including presenting and/or moderate panel discussions at industry forums.
- Collaborating with and supporting the infrastructure fund management and investment specialist team, including support of the preparation of and delivery of presentation materials for investor meetings / pitches.
- Maintaining all investor opportunities, meeting/call notes, and related contacts in LGIM’s CRM system, to assist with cross-platform information sharing and intelligence gathering.
- Engaging with investors in a global private markets solutions-oriented dialogue, understanding LGIMs investment framework that integrates both long-term strategic and near-term tactical asset allocation recommendations across real asset categories, geographies, and structures.
- Supporting the ongoing client relationship management as appropriate with existing and new investors, ensuring proactive engagement and responsiveness to needs and requests, including assisting with the due diligence process
Who we're looking for:
- Highly motivated team player with proven communication and distribution skills.
- Previous experience in the investment management industry, with a focus on infrastructure.
- Proven track record of success in dealing with institutional investors.
- Experienced and collaborative team player and culture carrier.
- Expertise in engagement with institutional investors, including experience within a capital raise or investor relations team at a infrastructure/real assets manager or placement agents
- Demonstrable network of investors contacts, preferably across client segments and regions in Europe – e.g. pension plans, insurance companies, endowments/foundations, consultants and potentially retail/HNW distribution platforms – ideally with established access to infrastructure and private markets decision-makers.
- Experience in presenting or discussing individual infrastructure investments or transactions in detail
- Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and understanding of industry trends and investor requirements.
- Experience with new product development and execution, including strategy development, creation of PPMs, marketing plans, and related marketing materials.
- Broad capital markets knowledge, with infrastructure as a focus. Demonstration of broader knowledge across other real asset sectors is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with presentation experience in small and large group settings.
