Asset Management Compliance Manager (Surveillance)

We’re recruiting for a Compliance Manager (Surveillance) to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary and good benefits package.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing high quality compliance surveillance support to L&G Asset Management’s regulated entities
• Leading investigations into adverse conduct and ensuring practices are inline with regulations and risk appetite
• Remining up to date on emerging regulations and developing, implementing and enhancing additional surveillance scenarios in response to this
• Designing and implementing new mitigating actions to reduce risks
• Production of clear and concise MI for boards, committees and team meetings
• Analysing compliance data, incorporating new data sets, and implementing new tests to continuously develop the Compliance Surveillance Plan

Who we're looking for:

• Experience of working at the Regulator or an Asset Manager in a compliance surveillance role
• Strong understanding of the relevant FCA regulations
• Strong working knowledge of any of the following desks:  Global Trading, Active Equity or Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Money Market, Index & ETF
• Experience of analysing large stets of data and using systems like SQL and Python to manipulate data
• Proficient with trade surveillance systems
