We’re looking for an Agency Appointments Manager to join our team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the onboarding of intermediary firms and advisers, ensuring robust risk assessment and compliance from the outset.
You’ll lead a high-performing team, strengthen control frameworks, and work closely with stakeholders across the business to drive efficient, compliant and high-quality onboarding processes. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a regulated environment while supporting strong customer and business outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading, motivating and developing a team responsible for onboarding intermediary firms and advisers
- Managing onboarding risk processes and applying robust control frameworks to support decision making
- Assessing financial and business intelligence to recommend appropriate onboarding outcomes
- Reviewing and enhancing operational controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Overseeing quality checks, complaint handling, breach reporting and issue resolution
- Analysing MI and performance data to improve service delivery, efficiency and customer outcomes
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and key business areas
- Leading projects and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen risk management and onboarding processes
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven experience within financial services, with a strong understanding of the UK market
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, compliance frameworks and risk management principles
- Experience managing or leading teams, with the ability to drive performance and development
- Understanding of onboarding governance, intermediary structures and contractual arrangements
- Ability to interpret financial and business data to support risk-based decision making
- Experience improving processes, controls and operational efficiency
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels
- Knowledge of systems and tools used in onboarding, due diligence and business intelligence
