Please note this is a 14-month fixed-term contract.

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Third-Party Risk Management Lead to provide strategic leadership, governance and oversight of our enterprise-wide third-party risk management framework. Working within Group Procurement, you’ll shape the TPRM strategy, operating model and transformation agenda while helping the organisation manage supplier and outsourcing risks effectively.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who combines deep financial services risk expertise with an inclusive, collaborative approach. You’ll influence senior stakeholders across the three lines of defence, lead a specialist team and play a central role in regulatory compliance, governance and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning and continuously enhancing the Group’s TPRM framework, policies, standards, procedures and target operating model
  • Defining and delivering the enterprise-wide TPRM strategy, roadmap and transformation programme
  • Leading outsourcing governance and regulatory compliance across third-party and external supplier services
  • Chairing governance forums and providing strategic oversight of emerging risks, material issues and control effectiveness
  • Establishing and overseeing risk appetite, key risk indicators, management information and Board-level reporting
  • Providing executive oversight of material supplier incidents, service disruptions, resilience events and remediation activity
  • Leading, developing and inspiring a high-performing TPRM team with a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Building effective relationships with regulators, senior leaders and stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Procurement and the wider business

Who we’re looking for:

  • Significant senior leadership experience in third-party risk management, outsourcing oversight or operational risk within financial services
  • Proven experience of owning enterprise-wide TPRM frameworks, policies and governance structures
  • Expert knowledge of the regulatory framework applying to third-party risk and outsourcing within financial services
  • Experience of overseeing TPRM technology implementation, development or enhancement
  • A strong track record of managing regulatory reviews, audits, control improvements and remediation programmes
  • The ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels through a collaborative, inclusive and practical approach
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and developing TPRM professionals
  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience, ideally supported by knowledge of business, economics or supply chain management

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
  • There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  • We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience
