This role sits within the Performance & Attribution function, delivering performance, attribution, and risk across LGIM Retail funds and strategies. We are looking for a Senior Performance Analyst who is an experienced, fully competent performance professional that has the knowledge and ability to support the team with dealing with complex queries and reconciliation issues.

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Leading the board reporting process, including developing and checking the reports. Engaging with senior leaders to understand the business needs and develop the reports as necessary.
- Being a subject matter expert in dealing with retail performance queries by acting as an escalation point for complex queries and ABOR/IBOR reconciliation issues.
- Supporting the performance analysts in calculating performance, attribution and ex-post risk across retail funds.
- Ensuring data relevant to LGIM funds is regularly attested to on platforms like Lipper and Morningstar
- Helping reduce key person dependencies through training and mentoring the performance analysts as required.
- Continually seeking to understand and satisfy our client’s requirements. Working closely with our partners in Product, Investments and Distribution, ensuring the performance service continues to evolve and brings real value to our clients.
- Maintaining and demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of retail performance, including a clear understanding of LGIM’s product ranges / fund types and communicating and sharing this knowledge with the wider Performance team.
- Ensuring appropriate procedures and controls are in place for all performance processes and functions.
- Ensuring that all reports are independently checked and at a high standard before distribution.
- Deputising for the Performance Team Manager in meetings and projects.
- Prior experience in a Performance role
- Extensive experience in dealing with retail queries
- Experience of Lipper and Morningstar performance systems.
- Experience of leading performance projects and improving processes.
- Experience in programming and visualisation tools (Python, SQL, VBA, Power BI).
- Knowledge or experience in equity (index and active), multi- asset, and fixed income would be desirable
- Performance analysis and ex post risk statistics. Understand and have experience in equity attribution.
- Ability to disseminate knowledge via presentations to the wider team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to liaise with senior management.
