Senior IT Risk Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior IT Risk Analyst to join us on a 6 month fixed-term contract!

You’ll play a key role in supporting the sound and coherent management of infrastructure and IT operations risks with our Group Technology function. You’ll also ensure the controls operated by our third-party suppliers are tightly managed, identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities where necessary.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the Group Technology Senior Risk Manager in the management of the frameworks for risks and controls related to the operation of Group Technology processes performed by our third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with our regulatory obligations
• Acting as the coordinator for risks and issues associated with services delivered by the major third-party suppliers, including coordinating supplier risk forums, to ensure the seamless management of risks and controls between suppliers and internal governance processes
• Maintaining an up-to-date view of risks and issues related to services provided by and controls operated by third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with our regulatory obligations
• Providing routine and accurate management information to a range of stakeholders, to facilitate management decisions
• Supporting the development and maintenance of an active ownership controls culture across Group Technology, ensuring compliance to internal policies and standards

Who we're looking for:

• Knowledge of technology and security infrastructure related risk frameworks (e.g. COBIT, NIST)
• A good understanding of IT controls and IT risks to identify and evaluate control effectiveness and identify any potential gaps between IT risks and existing IT controls
• Relevant risk management experience, ideally within financial services and technology environments
• Experience of technology infrastructure and security related risk
• You’ll also be well versed in working with colleagues across all seniority levels
