Senior Business Analyst (Automation)

Are you a skilled Senior Automation Business Analyst with a passion for driving end-to-end process efficiency and automation? Here at Legal & General we are seeking a talented individual to join our Group Functions team. In this role, you will lead the identification, assessment, and analysis of business processes to improve performance and implement automation solutions. What you'll be doing:

• Leading requirements elicitation processes for automations, including defining business opportunities/problems and documenting requirements
• Reviewing and evaluating proposals to initiate change activity, ensuring alignment with the divisional Roadmap
• Evaluating the quality of deliverables, including those from third parties, to ensure they are fit for purpose
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders and Divisional Directors to support decision-making and smooth delivery of automations
• Reviewing and evaluating proposed automations, making recommendations to senior managers and aligning technical limitations with operational realities
• Delivering automation work packages, coaching and motivating less experienced staff to meet required standards
• Developing and delivering processes and systems to ensure consistent service levels that meet customer expectations
• Ensuring all activities consider treating customers fairly

Who we're looking for:

• Green Belt Six Sigma and Blue Prism Foundation Certificate would be ideal
• Extensive knowledge of market process automation technology
• Proficiency in MS Office software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Understanding of Business Analysis techniques such as business case completion, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder management
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches
• Understanding of the UK Financial Services regulatory framework
• Experience in continuous improvement environments
• Ability to lead and mentor other Automation Analysts
