Qualified Solicitor – UK Investments

We’re recruiting for a Qualified Solicitor to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary, 12% car allowance and strong benefits package.

What you'll be doing:

• Drafting, negotiating, and amending financial services agreements related to the UK Super Manco, UK authorised funds, and unit-linked funds
• Providing legal support to the business, including supporting and advising on the structure and launch of new funds
• Drafting and reviewing investment management agreements
• Advising on legal and regulatory requirements and developments, including AIFMD and ESG rules
• Assessing and advising teams on legal risk and recommending appropriate strategies to mitigate those risks
• Monitoring events and developments that could have legal implications for the UK business

Who we're looking for:

• Qualified Solicitor with a current Practising Certificate
• 3-5 years PQE
• Excellent technical knowledge of funds; private fund experience would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of UK UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds and their regulation
• Experience in structuring, launching, and amending investment funds in the UK
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to deal with senior stakeholders across the business
