Job Description

Design, deliver and optimise customer (lender, broker and B2C) focussed propositions and related customer journey and experience across LGMS to ensure that we achieve our objectives and Key Results.

What you will be doing:

  • Achieve agreed objectives and key results through development of key propositions and products across LGMS that have been identified by the Head of Propositions,  working closely with the Distribution and marketing team to help to create a new proposition that is fit for the future.
  • Support the Head of Propositions to deliver new activity, enhance the existing activity and wind down activity that is no longer achieving our strategic objectives by working closely with Compliance. Risk, Marketing and Change teams.
  • Support the Head of Propositions with building relationships with third parties and seek out and develop new opportunities for acquiring business and deepen the relationship Legal & General has with these partners.
  • Work closely with Marketing to undertake relevant research and promotion of all new and existing propositions to all that all propositions are relevant and that LGMS objectives are achieved
  • Work in an effective partnership with all Key Relationship Managers, Telephone Account Managers and Lender team where appropriate, so that proposition plans are implemented, shared and communicated to maximise opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of a Governance strategy to ensure delivery of appropriate propositions from both a new and existing proposition perspective.  Seek support/involvement from internal stakeholders
  •  Deliver new activity, enhance the existing activity and wind down activity that is no longer achieving our strategic objectives in line with the strategic vision.
  • Seek feedback from customers that aims to identify area’s for improvement within product design, literature administration, sales processes and provide information to relevant areas where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Ideally CeMap or equivalent
  • Marketing methods to assist business providers in day to day sales activity and campaign planning to achieve income growth and adoption targets
  • market related changes, to spot opportunity for business growth and improvement
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on all relevant products and propositions, understanding current and future legislation that may affect our propositions along. 
  • Knowledge of business strategy, customer communication and business planning including the development of strategic and distribution plans.
  • Specific working knowledge of the UK mortgage lending market and fintech market ideally with market experience.
  • Demonstrable background in developing new and existing propositions
  • Presentation skills – in person, online via Teams/Zoom and in all written materials
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate positivity, perseverance and resilience
  • Numerate.  Able to interpret MI/financial data effectively to create robust business cases
