In this role you will create and deliver integrated product marketing initiatives for LGIM’s Real Assets business, in partnership with technical specialists, to help meet business objectives and sales targets. You'll also create and deliver product marketing messaging and content across a range of other investment products and client types, in partnership with technical specialists as well as supporting the marketing components of regulatory projects.
You will play a key role in delivering initiatives to (a) improve the perception of LGIM as a leading provider of products and solutions (b) increase assets under management via the relevant marketing channels (c) support the delivery of regulatory projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the creation of product marketing campaigns and initiatives for LGIM’s Real Assets business, with the aim of driving client sales and retention, working in close collaboration with investment, distribution, product and marketing teams across LGIM.
- Develop differentiated positioning, messaging and product-specific content for LGIM’s Real Assets business. This will be to promote both our investment capabilities across real assets and private markets, comprising new fund launches and existing investment strategies across multiple client channels and regions.
- Create and maintain product marketing and sales enablement collateral including pitch decks, brochures, client emails, websites, regular strategy updates (e.g. quarterly commentaries) etc.
- Integrate product into channel marketing plans and deliver: Work with multiple marketing teams (strategy, PR, brand, content, digital, events) to support the integration of product considerations into marketing campaigns and activity.
- Support LGIM’s broader range of investment capabilities and products. The role will also involve include the creation of messaging, content and communications for LGIM’s broader range of products, including but not limited to active strategies, index and ETF, multi-asset and solutions capabilities.
- Support and/or deliver marketing projects as required.
- Support the delivery of regulatory projects as they pertain to marketing. This will include ensuring that LGIM’s marketing materials adhere to evolving regulatory requirements, as well as triaging the impact of new and changing regulations on marketing.
- Budget monitoring: Ensure that all activities are accurately recorded as per budgeting process. Manage invoices in accordance with internal procedures.
- KPIs and market insight: Ensure all product marketing campaigns have clear measurements and KPIs and report back on campaign results.
- Campaign benchmarking: Proactively research competitor campaigns, including their trade press advertising and web activity, and recommend ideas, enhancements where appropriate.
- Materials governance: When working on all communications, work with key stakeholders (Compliance, marketing teams and distribution) to ensure that all work is delivered in a cost effective and timely fashion in line with brand and compliance guidelines. Observe good practice in relation to Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty, and ensure promotions deliver Regulatory and Data Protection requirements.
You'll be a self-starter with outstanding communication skills, attention to detail and strong project management skills. An excellent stakeholder manager, you're a team player willing to get involved in all aspects of the business.
Experience:
- Strong experience developing product-specific messaging and content for investment funds
- Experienced in supporting and executing campaign plans, demonstrating innovation and commercial awareness
- Experience of real assets and/or private markets investments
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment
Specialist Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of investment strategies and markets, including alternatives, private markets, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate etc.
- Good knowledge of investment strategies across equities, bonds, multi-asset, and index and active management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create compelling marketing communications
- A strong understanding of investment management businesses (Retail and Institutional), the competitor landscape and the regulatory framework and requirements
- Aware of the regulations and legislation governing advertising standards
