Job Description

A great 12 month opportunity to join our Procurement Operations team, supporting colleagues across the business and helping ensure buying activity is efficient, well‑governed and customer‑focused. You’ll play a key role in keeping our procure‑to‑pay processes running smoothly, providing high‑quality support and helping teams make the right purchasing decisions.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Managing requisition queues and progressing purchase order approvals in line with policy

    • Following up on queries and correcting documentation to keep transactions accurate and compliant

    • Delivering high‑quality procurement process support that enables users to work within risk guidelines

    • Supporting colleagues to adopt and follow procurement processes, standards and best practice

    • Capturing data accurately and on time to maintain strong data integrity

    • Working closely with Accounts Payable to reduce PO exceptions and improve PO penetration

    • Guiding business users through the purchase order and ordering process in line with company requirements

    • Ensuring procurement activity linked to external customer delivery aligns with Consumer Duty commitments

    Who we're looking for:

    • Strong customer service skills with a positive, solutions‑focused approach

    • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

    • Confident problem‑solving skills and sound judgement

    • Experience engaging and supporting a range of stakeholders

    • Attention to detail while maintaining awareness of the bigger picture

    • Ability to navigate conflict or resistance constructively, especially during change

    • Digital confidence and familiarity with procurement or buying processes

    • Working knowledge of Procurement / P2P tools such as Oracle, SAP or Workday
