- Supporting the wider team as required on an ad hoc basis, leveraging resource from other teams with the support of senior leadership within the Pricing team.
- Suggesting and implementing process improvements/controls including maintaining clear and relevant documentation pertaining to these improvements.
- Ensuring that pricing analytics and insights discussed are aligned to good customers outcomes.
- Represent the Pricing team on business wide projects relating to the creation and maintenance of the pricing management information, so that the team’s business objectives are achieved.
Who we're looking for:
- A Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary and/or Data Science background, someone with a Degree in a numerate discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar) OR someone suitably qualified by relevant industry experience in a comparative role.
- Strong knowledge of Python/R coding skills and basic VBA/SQL skills.
- Experience using Artificial Intelligence to improve information management decision making processes.
- Good knowledge of processing data and producing Management Information.
- A basic knowledge/understanding of L&G annuity products.
- Very strong personal planning and organisation skills. With the ability to take ownership and responsibility for work and processes and delivering these to tight timescales.
- Ability to question results for reasonableness and refer to more experienced staff where appropriate.
- Initiative in applying problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels both within and outside the team.
- Ability to draft and maintain appropriate process documentation.
- Ability to guide others through requests for developments.
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
