We’re recruiting for a Personal Assistant to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. You will provide full support to the Head of Finance & Accounting Operations and Group Functions Change Director, as well as co-ordinating events.

We will consider applications from candidates wishing to work a 4 or 5 days a week. Days must include Monday and Tuesday.

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for the effective organisation, through diary and time management, of internal and external meetings, telephone/tele-conferences and logistics (venue, travel, accommodation, equipment etc.)
• Ensuring housekeeping for meetings is appropriately highlighted to the chair. Effective pre-meeting documentation, minute taking and follow-up communications. Coordinate course seminar requirements for staff
• Maintaining accurate records as required within the allocated division(s) incorporating expense accounts, personnel records (distribution/contact lists, sickness, training, holiday, PMRs etc), compliance updates, hospitality logs and effective invoice management
• Ensuring the accurate production and maintenance of departmental documentation and communications (reports, presentations, correspondence, statistics, divisional structure charts, MI etc) for the allocated business divisions(s)
• Providing prompt, professional and courteous support to any enquiry from any internal or external customer
• Acting as point of contact for the allocated divisional direct report(s), delivering a professional image of Legal & General and responding to their enquiries in a timely manner and across all media, taking ownership that issues are resolved and integrity is preserved. Ensuring visitor arrangements and itineraries are efficiently planned and coordinated

Who we're looking for:

• Proven track record working as a Personal Assistant, Team Assistant, Team Administrator or Executive Assistant
• Knowledge and experience of core Microsoft applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Capable of using a variety of technology. Ability and willingness to learn and train others on new tech/systems and sharing knowledge and expertise where necessary. 
• Demonstrates accuracy when sending out reports, papers, and correspondence.
• Strong team player, capable of working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is paramount.
• The ability to prioritise a busy workload and to be flexible in a continuously changing environment.
• Self-starter, capable of working alone and unguided but dealing with any situation that arises and confident in making decisions where appropriate. 
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills at all levels and the ability to create a strong internal and external network.
