Finance Analyst - Accounts Payable (6 months FTC)

We’re recruiting for a Finance Analyst - Accounts Payable to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

L&G Affordable Homes is on a mission to tackle the UK’s housing shortage by delivering high-quality, affordable homes. As part of our growing and ambitious team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our finance operations while contributing to a purpose-driven business that values innovation, inclusion, and impact.

What you’ll be doing:

• Processing supplier invoices and staff expenses with appropriate authorisation
• Uploading weekly payments to the system while following all financial controls
• Setting up and maintaining supplier account details
• Undertaking bank reconciliations and posting to the cash book
• Liaising with suppliers, third parties and internal teams to resolve queries
• Supporting the month-end close process
• Contributing to process improvements within the finance function
• Collaborating with colleagues across multiple corporate entities

Who we’re looking for:

• Experience in accounts payable or similar finance roles
• Early-stage professional qualification or qualified by experience
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders
• Motivated, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in property or construction sectors is a plus, but not essential
• Comfortable working within a corporate finance structure
