We’re recruiting for a Distribution Strategy Manager to contribute to defining and helping to drive LGIM Retail’s distribution strategy in the UK and EMEA.
Working with areas throughout LGIM to ensure the product suite, marketing collateral, messaging and distribution approach is tailored to meet the needs of our clients.
Maintaining retail distribution strategy as a centre of technical product and investment expertise within LGIM Retail distribution.
This position is a 9 month fixed term contract, prior Distribution/Institutional Sales experience is not required, as long as there is an understanding of the function those teams have in the asset management industry.
What you'll be doing:
- Contributing to and helping drive LGIM Retail’s distribution strategy in the UK and EMEA
- Providing senior management with updates on market / LGIM Retail's progress / strategy as needed
- Working to ensure that key client messaging for capabilities / funds are accurate, consistent and reflected in marketing materials
- Providing support for relationship management / new business pitches through market/competitor analysis and other ad-hoc client requests
- Monitoring financial clarity / sales data, working with sales managers to better target sales efforts
- Providing sales managers (and other areas) with insight into competitor funds / landscape as needed
- Working with areas throughout LGIM to ensure the product suite, marketing collateral and messaging and distribution approach is tailored to meet the needs of our clients, including Product, Marketing and Investment Specialists
- Working with product development teams to drive a client focused product development programme
Who we're looking for:
- Degree qualified and preferably an IMC/CFA holder
- A data and/or technical background would be advantageous, especially within an investment context
- A rounded understanding of the asset management market and competitive environment is desirable
- Strong entrepreneurial mind set focussed on finding opportunities
- Excellent communication skills
