Deputy Head of Financial Crime Operations – 10 Month FTC

We’re recruiting for a Deputy Head of Financial Crime Operations to join us on a 10 month FTC. We’re offering a competitive base salary and strong benefits package.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the Head of Financial Crime with 1st line operational BAU work and Project work
• Acting as a subject matter expert and supporting and guiding the Screening and Enhanced Due Diligence teams
• Producing clear management information and representing the Financial Crime Operations team at various groups, oversight committees and team meetings
• Providing advice, guidance and challenge to improve identification, management and mitigation of risk
• Testing systems and processes and looking for ways of improvement

Who we're looking for:

• We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Financial Crime regulations
• Hands on operational financial crime experience
• Experience of working in an Insurer, Bank or financial services firm
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem solving skills and experienced in process improvement
