At L&G, we are in the enviable position of being able to leverage the expertise and capabilities across our Asset Management Division in order to provide savers with a range of investment opportunities

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join the DC Investment Team in order to elevate L&G’s DC investment products and expertise within the market, aiding the acquisition of new clients and supporting existing clients as well as playing an important role in shaping future investment proposition

What you'll be doing:

• Acting as a key point of contact for distribution teams on DC investment and ESG matters
• Working with Business Development Directors to support their activity with key intermediary accounts and facilitate the further awareness and understanding of the DC investment proposition and roadmap. Including providing key competitor insights and information
• Investment specialist for the DC Sales Support Team, working on RFIs, RFPs, attending pitches, site visits, EBC research meetings and working on sales materials
• Working with the Client Relationship teams to support Trustee/Governance meetings and to provide support to answer investment queries from customers, their members and advisors. This may include performance reporting and data
• Supporting Customer Services team with investment queries from DC members in our bundled business
• Providing feedback from clients and advisers on DC investment trends. Drive DC-specific investment product development with the investment and product teams from a DC Distribution point of view
• Supporting the development of DC bundled and unbundled investment solutions, including the distribution of our DC investment only platform

Who we're looking for:

• Professional qualifications in relation to the role are desirable but not essential, for example Investment Management Certificate, CFA or similar.
• Excellent understanding of investments across different asset classes, asset allocation and specifics of DC investments
• Good knowledge of fund structures, operational requirements and governance
• Strong working knowledge of the DC market and provider landscape, including both bundled and unbundled DC
• Good working knowledge of ESG factors, DC requirements in ESG space and market trends
• Highly organised, proactive and accountability for delivery, able to work with and manage multiple stakeholders
• Client facing experience, with excellent presentational and communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure in a commercial environment
