Join Legal and General Asset Management as a Data Engineer and play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance and development of our Finance data strategy. You'll be part of a dynamic team, ensuring that data is sourced, stored, processed, and maintained efficiently to meet the evolving needs of our Finance department and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

• Developing strong working relationships with stakeholders across Asset Management functions
• Working with Senior Finance Managers and Business Stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Providing technical support to finance teams for data extraction and reporting
• Ensuring data structures are consistent and optimized across various systems
• Supporting the design, analysis, and maintenance processes and procedures to record data structures
• Supporting the implementation of new systems and processes
• Updating and automating current processes
• Engaging with Group Data to improve and utilize data solutions, including Cloud solutions

Who we're looking for:

• Experience in data programming and finance data
• Knowledge of asset management and data visualization
• Proficiency in SQL and VBA
• Self-starter with good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to deliver under pressure and provide informed responses in short timeframes
• Experience with relational databases, ETL/ELT tools, BI/reporting tools, general programming, big data platforms, data governance, and data modelling
