Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Client Relationship Executive to join our market leading DC business line. The successful candidate will be a point of contact for a shared portfolio of Contract, Own Trust & Master Trust DC clients on a reactive basis. The candidate will respond to ad hoc requests which may arise from clients and/or advisers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Promptly and accurately responding to queries that may arise from clients and advisers across the portfolio
  • Dealing directly with Clients/Trustees, analysing, managing and owning any enquiries or escalated issues. Taking an active role in scheme specific issue resolution by engaging with various teams across the Legal & General business including Operations
  • Ensuring full investigation and resolution of any queries/issues and responding to the client in a timely manner and to the level of quality that meets the client’s expectations
  • Showing a full awareness and understanding of service commitments that have been provided to our clients, ensuring that the various areas of the business are capable of meeting those expectations
  • Building strong collaborative working relationships across the DC business to develop a network of key contacts and knowledge of the DC business. Ensuring they can provide a high-quality service to the Clients &Trustees within the appropriate risk, governance and compliance frameworks
  • Supporting, where appropriate, any planned annual and ad hoc scheme events, ensuring these are scheduled in and managed with all areas across DC
  • Keeping abreast of changes to the wider regulatory and legislative landscape, to ensure any impact on current processes or scheme design are assessed and adapted appropriately
  • Working with the Operational team in Cardiff to meet client objectives
  • As part of consumer duty, ensuring our clients have been provided with sufficient information to make an informed decision based

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Experience and knowledge of DC product solutions and marketplace is a requirement 
  • Corporate client relationship management experience in a product provider or EBC/significant intermediary
  • Understanding of administration / operational matters in relation to DC pension plans
  • Demonstrable communication/presentation skill – previous client facing meeting and presentational experience is a requirement, as is the ability to articulate and convey information in a clear and compelling manner in writing and in person
  • Ability to listen to client issues, understanding their challenges and leveraging L&G DC to address/resolve these issues
