We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Business Analyst to join our Group Protection team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of business change, helping shape the future of our customer journeys and digital transformation. What you'll be doing:

• Eliciting and documenting user stories and requirements from stakeholders
• Facilitating workshops and interviews to explore business needs
• Validating user stories using data, research and system analysis
• Supporting product owners in backlog prioritisation and epic definition
• Collaborating with developers and designers to shape viable solutions
• Modelling business processes and data flows using best practice techniques
• Managing stakeholder communication across multiple business areas
• Enabling the development of customer-focused products and services

Who we're looking for:

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in Agile and Waterfall environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
• Knowledge of user story creation, backlog management and acceptance criteria
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio and Power BI
• Understanding of customer-centric design and data modelling
• A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Professional qualifications in Business Analysis or Agile (desirable but not essential)
