Our Institutional Retirement division provides pension risk transfer (PRT) solutions for UK and US defined benefit (DB) schemes, and reinsurance solutions from our global hub in Bermuda. We work with companies, DB pension schemes and their advisors to help them secure and protect scheme members’ retirement benefits.

Are you ready to create insightful data visualizations and contribute to the evolution of a modern data platform? We are looking for a proactive Data Analyst to join our innovative Institutional Retirements Data Delivery team. This role is key to delivering insightful analysis and supporting informed business decision-making through high-quality data visualizations.

As an essential member of the team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data delivery, and governance, to ensure the reliability and performance of our data solutions. You will execute processes and controls in line with the data strategy and contribute to its continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:

• Understanding the data systems and structures within the business and contributing towards improvements
• Ensuring all outputs are visualized to a high standard using best practices
• Continuously developing processes to improve performance through automation and appropriate tooling choices
• Delivering ad hoc analytics and visualizations for internal customers using tools like SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI
• Developing and maintaining productive relationships with all stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on data, analytics, and visualization
• Ensuring timely delivery of regular reports to the business, aiming for automation and standardization
• Engaging stakeholders and undertaking appropriate testing prior to the implementation of any system or business changes

Who we're looking for:

• Experience of applying data modelling concepts to create efficient and scalable datasets for reporting
• Experience in dealing with high volumes of data with excellent attention to detail and reconciliation
• Experience in creating dashboards/data visualizations with tools like Tableau or PowerBI
• Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation to create and maintain datasets
• Experience in producing and automating regular reporting through analytical tools
• Strong skills in gathering requirements from stakeholders and managing expectations
• Familiarity with coding languages for data manipulation, such as SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and dashboarding tools
