Senior Asset Services - Middle Office

The purpose of this role is to be accountable for all components of the Middle Office Asset Services activities as part of retained and or outsourced services globally in line with market, regulatory and internal deadlines.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensuring the timely processing of asset services activities (Reconciliations, Cash Management, Income, Claims and Asset Transfers) as part of retained and/or outsourced services globally in line with market, regulatory and internal deadlines. Proactively working with LGIM stakeholders, Outsource Provider, and 3rd Parties to ensure all asset services activities are managed
• Overseeing the service of the outsourced provider meets the agreed service standards (incl. accuracy, timeliness, and client services measures)
• Assisting the outsource provider with agreed retained services delivery for the respective service area
• Developing and monitoring the daily & weekly service delivery KPI / KRIs and escalate issues accordingly
• Managing, motivating, and developing employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the company's policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement, to maximize the performance of the area. Strive for excellence in people management, displaying an empathic management style, leading by example, and using this to coach and support a team expected to deliver high standards.
• Managing operational risk and issues within the team and outsourced provider, regularly review and identify further opportunities for risk mitigation; ensure all functional procedures are in line with policies and regulatory requirements. Promptly and clearly articulate and inform senior management and stakeholders
• Engaging secondary service recipients (Client Service, Investments, and other Operational Teams to ensure the service delivery is achieving standards for today and future business levels
• Forming strategic partnerships with service providers/vendors, leveraging network. Actively participate and represent LGIM at working parities/forums. Clearly articulate and share market information internally to appropriate stakeholder

Who we're looking for:

• Demonstrated >10 years’ experience of the asset management industry/experience 
• Demonstrated >10 years’ experience within asset servicing in a middle office enviroment.
• Extensive knowledge in the outsourced service area covering operational service delivery knowledge and client expectations
• Industry awareness of the outsourced service area and regulations governing it
• Experience in managing and overseeing 3rd party relationship service delivery and strong influencing skills in managing relationship / client service engagement.
• Proven capability to work both independently and across a team
• Excellent planning, prioritisation, problem solving and organisation skills.
• Evidence of high degree of independent judgment for decision making.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communication
• Experience of managing multiple initiatives/projects and change management
