Product Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Manager to join us in Barnsley!

You’ll play a key role in owning the product journey and process flows within a newly formed team, in addition to defining the product strategy and working closely alongside our Developers.

What you’ll be doing

• Understanding key market drivers and challenges; monitoring regulatory and legislative issues; exploiting MI and customer research to ensure the LGMS products stay relevant in the market and fit the needs of the target market. Making recommendations to optimise the end-to-end product proposition
• Co-ordinating and maintaining strong risk mitigation and management controls framework, ensuring the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) framework is used for the ongoing management and development of product and propositions by the team. Ensuring an effective and compliant governance environment for products, ensuring ongoing risk and value for money reviews are completed to a high standard and on schedule
• Working closely with internal, market and external stakeholders to ensure effective inbound and outbound communications for LGMS products, ensuring smooth Lender onboarding onto our tools and high adviser usage
• Analysing service performance and operational Key Performance Indicators to inform continuous improvement of the process journeys, working closely with marketing and scrum colleagues to optimise the quality and identify revenue opportunities. Monitoring, improving and maintaining LGMS product customer satisfaction measured by Net Promoter Scores   
• Undertaking appropriate customer research and product testing to provide assurance that the product / proposition will perform as expected to meet the needs, characteristics, and objectives of customers in the target market

What we’re looking for

• You’ll be well versed as a Product Manager and enjoy collaborating with Development teams
• A background in Agile delivery
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Financial Services experience
• Knowledge of the mortgage market would be a huge plus!
