PMO ANALYST

We have a brand new opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join Legal and General Group IT Services on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract! .

This is an exciting opportunity where as PMO Analyst you’ll manage and control a range of administrative activities within the PMO ensuring that key documentations are managed and up to date, that project collateral is stored in a rigorous and compliant manner and readily accessible to team members, and support PMO processes to make sure that these are operating effectively

• Supporting the management of artefacts, controls and processes to support the effective management of the PMO 
• Ensuring that project spend, governance, status reporting, financial control and tracking of project spend are implemented and operating effectively
• Working closely with the PMO Manager, PMO Consultant and project managers in order to consistently communicate project management controls and processes to project management teams
• Accurately log budget information and track the spend against budget for projects & programmes within the portfolio
• Maintain information concerning cost, time, status, risk and resource to support the effective management of the portfolio and relevant controls
• Supporting process improvement and cost reduction efforts to promote rapid continuous improvement
• Working with project/programme managers and teams to ensure that stage gate and milestone reviews are conducted effectively and the results are logged

• For this role it would be nice to have some knowledge of project management processes, tools, performance measurement and metrics
• You’ll be an expert user of software tools including Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
• You’ll have the ability to communicate effectively and confidently
• Having experience of operating Portfolio, Programme and Project Management processes, desirable
• Experience of completing project portfolio reports and analysis accurately, on time and within cost to the required quality parameters. Desirable
