We’re recruiting for a Pension Investment Specialist to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary of £35000-£42000 dependant on experience. You will be responsible for providing critical investment services to our Workplace Pension Clients, members and internal stakeholders, this will include end to end project management, data migration and data analysis. You will contribute to the end to end planning and understanding of client's requirements regarding fund setup, transfers, switch activity and the restructuring of assets creating and managing transition plans alongside internal stakeholders.. You will be expected to work with internal specialists to analyse and manipulate data, support with instructing unit deal and reconciling post transition. Part of the role will be providing consultants and clients with information post transfer and transition which can include a summary of calculations for transactions of member assets.
What you'll be doing:
- Be the face of the team by analysing, project managing and owning complex investment transaction processes and tasks, fully resolving and responding to customer enquiries of all levels within service agreements. Using supported systems, prioritise own work and that of your peers and proactively support your colleagues to meet and where possible exceed service levels, targets and customer expectations.
- Apply detailed knowledge of all funds pricing and mapping across different platforms and products. Use this knowledge of investment switching, blended funds and lifestyle profiles to reduce profit and loss actions occurring in box, during rework, allocation of contributions, claims and transfer projects where relevant to your team. Support other impacted teams and finance in this aim.
- Fully understand regulatory and product requirements so you can provide advice, guidance to your team ensuring that you all operate and are compliant with any rules and regulations.
- When things go wrong use your experience and data to find out what went wrong and what we could do to stop it from happening again, identifying trends and sharing your findings, solutions and reasons with your colleagues and leaders. Own and resolve customer escalations (including Summary Resolution Complaints), where appropriate making use of T&U payment authority and customer call backs to ensure that the customer experience is maximised and the L&G brand is enhanced
- Take pride in and ownership of your personal development, using external insight to ensure your knowledge of business processes, product expertise and customer service is always at a high level. Identifying solutions or ways to improve as required
- Communicate in an effective way and proactively manage your stakeholders and peers, sharing best practice whilst being open to their guidance and learnings so as a team we perform highly
- Identify and implement ways to improve the capability of the teams processes and performance, sharing best practice, coaching and raising issues with the team leader. Always act as a role model making sure you put your colleagues, customers and clients at the heart of everything.

- Decision Making: Proven ability to confidently make decisions based on evaluations of risks and using all available information
- Ownership: Proven ability to own business problems and resolve issues quickly in a way that protects the business and impacts positively on the customer journey
- Relationships: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and networks, and collaborate externally and internally
