We’re recruiting for an Operational Controls Consultant to join the Workplace Savings team on a full-time, permanent basis. We’re offering a competitive base salary. 

What you'll be doing:

• Reviewing and reporting on operational controls to ensure service standards are met
• Undertaking assessments of policies, procedures, systems and internal controls
• Coordinating monitoring activities to meet AAF 01/20 technical standards
• Encouraging timely disclosure and escalation of risks, issues and breaches
• Supporting the development of corrective action plans where failings are identified
• Providing operational controls expertise to internal projects and initiatives
• Assisting in the creation and delivery of risk-related training and presentations
• Ensuring that good conduct and treating customers fairly is central to decisions and actions taken

Who we're looking for:

• A background within Risk
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong management reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights through effective reporting
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective collaboration with peers and senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of pensions or financial services (desirable)
• Understanding of risk management systems and regulatory environments
