Are you passionate about shaping the future of infrastructure investment? At L&G, we’re building a world-class Private Markets platform, and we’re looking for a strategic thinker and collaborative leader to head our Infrastructure Research team. With over £57bn in AUM and ambitious growth plans to reach £85bn by 2028, this is a unique opportunity to influence investment strategy at scale, drive innovation, and contribute to sustainable outcomes for our clients and society.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the development of infrastructure investment views across debt and equity
• Producing insightful research on market conditions, sector dynamics, and portfolio strategy
• Collaborating with investment desks, product teams, and ESG specialists to shape strategy
• Acting as a thought leader through publications, presentations, and industry engagement
• Managing and mentoring an analyst focused on digital infrastructure
• Supporting the creation of new investment products and strategies
• Advocating for research insights to influence portfolio construction and client outcomes
• Representing L&G in external forums, conferences, and media engagements

Who we’re looking for:

• Strong knowledge of European infrastructure markets, especially clean energy and digital assets
• Experience in research or strategic analysis within asset management, consulting, or similar
• Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills
• Confidence in communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences
• A collaborative and flexible approach to working across teams
• A proactive mindset with the ability to originate and deliver impactful research
• A commitment to sustainable and responsible investment principles
• Previous people management experience is a plus, but not essential
