11 Month FTC - Group Financial Crime Consultant

Helping over ten million people around the world manage their savings, retirement plans and life insurance requires a lot of people behind-the-scenes.  It’s up to us in L&G Group functions – which includes our tech and digital teams, Group Finance, HR, Risk and Corporate Comms to provide the essential support services that all areas of the business need, here in the UK and overseas. We are looking for someone with a strong technical and finance background to join our Group Financial Crime team in London on an 11 Month FTC.

Ideally you will have strong technical skills in excel, be able to interrogate data, produce well written reports and present key information to stakeholders across the business.

You will also be involved in designing oversight and quality assurance programmes which will be used across the business.

Knowledge and Experience:

Understanding and experience of Insurance & Assurance, Investment Management and/or Other Financial Services.

Direct Financial Crime experience is not essential, but it would be good for you to understand some of the key financial crim risks; for example, Sanctions, AML/CTF, Fraud, ABC, CCO, Insider Dealing and market Abuse. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present.

Technical skills in Excel are essential (but VBA skills are not necessary), and the ability to work with Alteryx highly preferred.
