Job Description

Our marketing function aims to showcase the expertise, service credentials and first-class reputation of our pension risk transfer business and support the team in winning new business. We aim to build strong relationships with key decision makers at defined benefit pension schemes and sponsors, e.g. pension trustees, CFOs, CIOs, and their advisers. This role is intended to help grow preference with prospective and existing clients and increase brand salience.

You will be responsible for developing client-facing content, meeting materials and customer literature, working closely alongside our new business origination team and client service team. You will also be responsible for the delivery of key aspects of our market engagement programme. This programme comprises a broad range of formats including articles, presentations, reports, videos, podcasts, webinars, and events, across both B2B and B2C audiences.

What you'll be doing: 

Developing articles, presentations, reports, videos, podcasts, webinars, customer literature, meeting and event materials in conjunction with our new business and client service teams. This will involve the project management of key initiatives within our marketing strategy. 

Maintaining and updating website content to ensure our digital channels are fully up to date and that information is clear and relevant for our target audience.

Writing draft campaign plans, article outlines, speaker bullets, and social media posts to facilitate the publication of content in a timely manner.

Producing reports capturing information such as feedback, debriefs, and digital analytics to measure return on objectives and inform our decision making

Co-ordinating our content approval and sign off process to ensure conduct risk, compliance and advertising standard policies are followed.

Logging and submitting invoices received and supplier management to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Supporting our public relations and communications activities as required to ensure our messaging is fully aligned across external and internal channels.

Ensure communications are clear, fair, and not misleading and are fully compliant with any rules and guidance issued by the relevant regulators, including relevant data protection legislation

 


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Degree level or equivalent industry experience

Knowledge:

Good working knowledge of current digital communications channels.

Highly proficient using Office 365 applications (particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel) plus an ability to learn new systems.

Experience:

Marketing experience.

Experience of using content management systems to manage and create web content 

Experience of using professional social media platforms and analytics tools 

Experience of working with budgets and invoice management

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Creatively driven, with excellent attention to detail.

Strong presentation skills: both in terms of producing/editing slide decks and presenting materials to stakeholders at all levels

Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritise whilst managing several projects simultaneously

Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks is essential

A team player willing to get involved in all aspects including associated administration
