LIQUIDITY MANAGER

We’re recruiting for a Liquidity Manager within our Group Treasury Functions.

The purpose of this role is to drive liquidity management to maximise the amount of liquidity available for investment by Group and Business Units by building and implementing a new liquidity reporting function to forecast liquidity generation.

What you'll be doing:

• You will develop, implement and manage a robust regular consolidated liquidity reporting capability for the purposes of forecasting liquidity generation and deployment by Business Unit.
• You will be responsible for producing quality, accurate and timely reports relating to building forecasts and tracking how actual liquidity generation compares to plan forecast. Present these reports to Group/Senior stakeholders for them to make decisions and to improve control and performance.
• You will provide subject matter expertise and undertake liquidity optimisation projects to drive change and growth to the existing liquidity infrastructure in order to maximise the liquidity that is available for investment across the Group while maintaining liquidity within risk appetite.
• You will .maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the group to develop understanding, identify opportunities and emerging risks.
• You will be working with second line and Group ALM to develop, propose and implement strategies to ensure the integrity of stress testing for liquidity and collateral.
• You will keep informed of the latest communication with the Prudential Regulation Authority and ensure that L&G Group adheres to all relevant regulations.
• You will ensure that the processes and systems are in place to provide support Group Treasury to meet its regulatory obligations and also so that customers are treated fairly in line with Legal & General’s Consumer Duty commitments.

Who we're looking for:

• Some experience in a Liquidity or very closely related Finance/Risk/Actuarial role
• Liquidity and Collateral Risk
• Working knowledge of: treasury Instruments such as money market, foreign exchange and derivative transactions
• Working knowledge of financial Markets in which Group Treasury operates
• Strong balance sheet experience
• Sound technical and modelling skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrable attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships
