In this fixed term contract for a year, you will support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing initiatives particularly targeted to LGIM’s EU wholesale distribution channels, with a focus on ETF and active strategies to help meet business objectives and sales targets. The primary countries are: Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Benelux and Italy.
You'll play a key role in delivering and developing initiatives to (a) improve the perception of LGIM in Europe as a leading provider of products and solutions (b) increase funds under management via the relevant marketing channels.
What you'll be doing:
- Marketing strategy: Working closely with Senior Channel Manager to contribute to European wholesale marketing plans.
- Marketing support and delivery: Working with the ‘virtual’ teams from marketing services (PR, brand, content, digital, events) to support the delivery of high-quality campaigns and marketing activity with the aim of driving client sales and retention. Liaising with publishers and managing external media agency when delivering campaigns across multiple European markets
- Literature suite and product and capabilities communications: Working with the Senior Channel Managers, Content, brand, external design agency, and distribution to manage and develop our product enablement material. Maintaining and updating brochure, presentation, email and website content.
- Budget monitoring: Ensuring that all activities are accurately recorded as per budgeting process. Managing invoices in accordance with internal processes
- KPIs and MI: Ensuring all EU campaigns have clear measurements and KPIs, report back on campaign results with a narrative able to identify success and failures and adapt accordingly.
- Campaign benchmarking: Proactively research competitor campaigns, including their trade press advertising and web activity, and recommend ideas, enhancements where appropriate.
- Materials governance: When working on all communications, work with key stakeholders (Compliance, virtual teams and distribution) to ensure that all work is delivered in a cost effective and timely fashion in line with brand and compliance guidelines. Observing good practice in relation to Treating Customers Fairly and ensuring promotions deliver Regulatory and Data Protection requirements.
Degree qualified, you'll have experience of working in a Marketing function in the asset management or financial services industries. You'll be used to planning and executing campaign plans in Europe, demonstrating innovation and commercial awareness. Aware of the regulations and legislation governing the asset management business and advertising standards, you'll also have knowledge of investment strategies and markets, including ETFs, equities, bonds, multi-asset, and passive and active management.
Ideally you'll speak one of the following languages: German, Italian, French or Spanish.
You will also be:
- A self-starter with outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
- An excellent communicator with good project management and multi-tasking skills.
- Have the ability to build strong working relationships with all areas of the business
- A team player willing to get involved in all aspects of the business.
