We’re recruiting for an Employee Relations Consultant to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. As an Employee Relations Consultant, you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive employee experience and ensuring our people policies reflect both our values and the evolving world of work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing expert advice on employee relations matters to managers and HR colleagues
- Supporting organisational change projects including restructures and TUPE transfers
- Building strong partnerships with HR, business leaders, and trade union representatives
- Delivering coaching and training to enhance ER capability across the business
- Monitoring employment legislation and recommending policy updates
- Analysing ER data to identify trends and inform decision-making
- Advising on complex employee relations cases with a focus on resolution
- Promoting a culture of fairness, inclusion, and continuous improvement
Who we’re looking for:
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Experience working in a unionised environment
- Proven ability to manage complex ER cases and conflict resolution
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Commercial awareness and understanding of business priorities
- Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to positive employee outcomes
