We’re currently looking to hire a DC Strategies Associate to join Legal and General Asset Management and the DC Strategies team within Asset Allocation

The Asset Allocation team combines LGIM’s economic and multi-asset research capabilities with portfolio management groups across a range of multi-asset product categories. All funds within Asset Allocation benefit from the input and expertise of the team’s investment strategists, economists, and fund managers.

Within the Asset Allocation team, LGIM’s Multi-Asset Funds team is responsible for the management and growth of our diversified fund range. The team brings experience across investment management, investment consulting, banking, and academia, working with pension funds, insurers and retail clients

Defined Contributions (DC) is an important and growing business for the Asset Allocation team and central to L&G’s strategy. This individual will join the DC Strategies team within Asset Allocation. This team is responsible for the management of the Target-Date Fund ranges (the DC Defaults for L&G) and will help to shape the future evolution of the strategy to ensure it continues to deliver the best value for our members

What you'll be doing:

• Being a point of contact for technical specific client and consultant enquiries, liaising between fund management and distribution activities
• Assisting in the production of new business presentations and the supporting materials, such as RFPs, requests from other teams, fund factsheets and other marketing collateral
• Supporting the team with running the analytics to fulfil quarterly and adhoc collateral requirements. Attention to detail and accuracy are key skills here
• Supporting the team with presentations material for a range of clients, potential clients, consultants and intermediaries
• Communicating complex analysis and sophisticated ideas in a concise and understandable fashion, both externally and internally, both in writing and in person
• Foster strong internal relationships to achieve broader and better product knowledge and to pull together the ‘best of LGIM’ for our clients
• Having strong prioritisation skills in order to deliver on multiple workstreams at the same time
• Providing a highly analytical approach to all work undertaken with a high level of accuracy
• Personally practice LGIM cultural values and behaviours, ensuring the maintenance of a true One LGIM culture and helping make LGIM a business that all can be proud to work for and would recommend to others. Participate in a risk and conduct risk aware culture, including having an awareness of the Consumer Duty and DC Value for Money regulations and the need to ensure the delivery of good client and customer outcomes

Who we're looking for:

• You’ll have a strong academic/professional qualifications background and/or experience gained in similar positions
• Strong numerical experience gained in asset management, investment consulting or similar and ideally with knowledge of investments and defined contribution pensions
• Proven self-starter with a strong work ethic and a track record of great attention to detail to deliver high quality work
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time pressure and with accuracy 
• Ability to engage and motivate others and the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas in a logical manner
• Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, presentation
