We're looking for a Risk Transformation Manager to join us in London on a 12 month fixed- term contract!
Reporting to the Head of Groupwide Technology Governance, the role sits within the Group Technology Directorate and provides IT Risk Management expertise, coherence and guidance on behalf of the Director, Group Technology.
The role holder will sit within the newly created Groupwide IT Risk Management function and be responsible for designing and delivering groupwide technology Risk Management initiatives and processes that are aligned to the IT Operational Risk Management framework. The role will include maintaining a view of cross-group strategic risks, and engagement with multiple first line peers across the technology risk community.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the Head of Groupwide Technology Risk and Controls in the development and delivery of Groupwide technology risk management initiatives
- Leading the creation and adoption of key groupwide technology risk processes and activities
- Supporting the adoption of the Group's Technology Risk and Controls Standard in the Group Technology Function and across the Group, with particular focus on cross-Group processes and activities
- Acting as a key focal point for the Technology Risk Transformation Project (LIGHTHOUSE), engaging routinely with the Project Manager and Delivery partners to ensure achievement of project objectives
- Supporting the senior Groupwide Technology Risk Manager in communicating and leading routine BAU changes to processes and activities
- Supporting the Head of Groupwide Technology Risk and Controls in development of the Group’s Technology governance response to the emerging requirements of the UK Corporate Governance Regime
What we're looking for
- Background of governance responsibilities in general and in particular to Audit, Compliance and Group Risk
- Experience in Risk Management in 1st, 2nd and 3rd line
- Experience in highly regulated environments (FS or Insurance etc)
- Understanding of operational resilience, risk control frameworks, IT Risk reporting, Risk, Audit and control assessments
- Knowledge and experience of risk control frameworks and the appropriate reporting
- Knowledge and experience of IT Security, Governance and IT policies and procedures
