We’re currently looking to hire a Cash & Treasury Services Manager to join Legal and General Asset Management.
A fantastic role managing the Cash & Treasury Services Function within Global Investment Operations to provide an efficient and effective service that remains aligned to the strategic goals of the department and business globally.
This is a new role in Global Investment Operations to establish a dedicated function to manage cash and treasury services. The primary function of the Cash & Treasury Services function is to ensure services including outsourced activities are effectively managed and processed to meet the needs of Legal and General Asset Management globally in accordance with market deadlines and industry best practise, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality control
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring the timely processing of cash & treasury services activities (including liquidity funding, cash transfers and transactions) as part of in-house and/or outsourced services globally in line with market, regulatory and internal deadlines
- Proactively working with LGIM stakeholders, Outsource Provider, and 3rd Parties to ensure all cash & treasury services activities are managed
- Overseeing the service of the outsourced provider meets the agreed service standards (incl. accuracy, timeliness, and client services measures)
- Monitoring the daily & weekly service delivery KPI / KRIs and escalate issues accordingly
- Managing, motivating and developing employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the company's policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement, to maximize the performance of the area
- Managing operational risk and issues within team and outsourced provider, regularly reviewing and identifying further opportunities for risk mitigation across cash and treasure flows across the operating model
- Engaging secondary service recipients (Client Service, Investments, L&G Group recipients and other Operational Teams) to ensure the service delivery is achieving standards for today and future business levels
- Managing a weekly service provider update which focuses on service fulfilment and escalated issues
- Form strategic partnerships with service providers/vendors, leveraging network. Actively participate and represent LGIM at working parities/forums. Clearly articulate and share market information internally to appropriate stakeholders
Who we're looking for:
- Demonstrate experience of the asset management industry/experience relevant to role
- Extensive knowledge in the outsourced service area covering operational service delivery knowledge and client expectations.
- Industry awareness of the outsourced service area and regulations governing it
- Experience in managing and overseeing 3rd party relationship service delivery
- Strong influencing skills in managing relationship / client service engagement
- Proven experience in managing operational service matters, awareness of LGIM risk and control framework.
- Proven capability to work both independently and across a team.
- Excellent planning, prioritisation, problem solving and organisation skills. Evidence of high degree of independent judgment for decision making.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to multi-task in a fast paced and changeable environment. Having a positive attitude towards change.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communications.
